Happy New Year, LFT family! It’s been a long hiatus, but it feels so good to be back. So much has happened in the past three months, with the most important news being that I was promoted to be the Program Director at my non-profit. This amazing opportunity, which just started yesterday but required almost a month of training, means more responsibility, so I will be shifting to posting blogs once a month until further notice. Thanks for your support and your understanding!
But, that’s not what you came here for, is it? You all came here to see vision board content, which my mom and I had a ton of fun making digitally this time around. The theme for this year is “Less Talk, More Action,” and you’ll see why momentarily. First, let’s take a look at the masterpiece!

Less Talk
We all know at least one person who talks about their dreams, but they never put the car in drive to go after it. Sure, they mean well, but at the end of the day, they’re all just talk. That was starting to be me last year.
In 2023, I got a taste of what it means to put plans in motion with so many opportunities that I took advantage of, but I missed out on so much more. In 2024, it’s time to kick it into full gear.
More Action
Of course my usuals are on my vision board — dedicate more time to exercise and increase my water intake. Every year, I make this a goal, but it eventually falls flat by the middle of the year. I go on this start, stop, start, stop journey with it, and I’m tired of it. My husband, Marlon, gave me great advice the other day, and I plan on using it to fuel my actions. He said, “Don’t think about how much you don’t want to work out. Just do it. The more you complain about it or internally dread it, the more likely you won’t do it.” This is what I mean by less talk, more action.
I also want to experience more this year, with the most exciting being more trips via the roads and the skies. Marlon and I are planning some potential vacation spots tonight and creating a plan to put them in motion. We also dabbled a bit in the arts last year with plays in D.C and New York and live musical performances, so this year, we purchased a membership for the Kennedy Center to experience more of the arts and have a trip to New York planned next week to see another play — less talk, more action.
Lastly, I’m doing more for me this year. I’m finding my style in fashion by seeking out fashion content creators who have a style that I’m interested in through my newly-created LTK account. I’m moving into a better apartment with more space to complete the ultimate gaming setup for me and Marlon. We’ve created a spreadsheet of apartments we like and plan to tour some units over the next couple of months. And more importantly, I am no longer waiting until Sundays to do self-care. If I want to do it randomly on a Tuesday night, that’s what I’m going to do. In fact, as soon as I’m done writing this blog, I’m taking a hot shower and putting on my 24K gold under-eye patches. Less talk, more action. I am stepping up in all areas of my life, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
Do you have a theme for 2024? How about goals that you plan on seeing through this year? I want to hear from you, so let me know in the comments! 😊

I’m with you on this mission. Keep up the pace. I got your back!
